Julian came back to the shop later that same day. He asked Mara about the indigo jar again, and she told him clearly that it was not for sale.
Mara then said that the memory had come from a child who had lived in the city long ago. That child had been known by a different name. Julian understood that this might explain why the memory felt like his own, even though it still seemed impossible.
He showed Mara the details he could still remember from the flash. He described the cracked tire swing and the smell of burnt sugar. Mara reacted as if she knew those things, and then she agreed to let him see one more record if he could stay calm.
Mara gave him an old address tied to the memory. She also warned him that someone might be looking for the jar. Julian decided to go there and look into the past for himself.
