Eren agreed that the clan had to move soon, and he said they still needed food for the journey. Tala then suggested stealing eggs from a nesting ground, since that could feed them without a full hunt.
Sora warned that adult dinosaurs watched the nest area closely. Even so, Bran volunteered to help after the trouble he had caused before, and Eren made him promise to follow Tala's signals.
That night, Tala, Bran, and Sora crawled toward the nest. They managed to take several eggs without waking the adults at first, while Mik stayed at camp and waited with the rest of the clan.
Then a sudden sound woke the nesting dinosaurs. The adults chased the humans, and Bran dropped one egg to save himself and the clan.
