Nina Patel then confirms that the anomaly stays stable for several minutes, so it is not only a glitch. The black hole seems to open into a distant planet instead of empty space, and Dr. Elias Grant asks to study it because the atmosphere looks similar to Earth’s.
The team sends a remote probe through the opening. When it returns, the probe shows land, water, and other signs that the planet can support life. Maya warns that if the opening can send a probe out, it could also let something travel back to Earth.
